Those are the people who are the real danger in the world, in my opinion. That's it. And when I'm done here I'll hopefully be able to look back and smile that I lived my life in a way that, even if in just some small way, was positive in a world in desperate need of positivity. I would not like the people making decisions to honestly believe the bible is the unequivocal word of God. Like space exploration and medical research (if its gods will, don't try to change it). (There are people like this, and they are in positions of power) So then... is this not just a flaw in the way we govern ourselves, an inherent conflict of interests that humans in a position of power will have. 06-10-24 19:35:08 _____________________________________________________
CyberdukeDave ::: Favorites The actual personal belief is not an issue for me, we all make sense of the world in the best way we can based on the information available to us at the time. People tend to polarise issues. In a sense I would not group your beliefs in a group I would take issue with, but that wouldn't stop you placing your own beliefs (aligning yourself with a group) in my "firing line" and taking offence. 06-10-24 19:35:33 _____________________________________________________
