This is a response to a comment on BonoboBill's video "Evidence for Common Ancestry: Human Chromosome 2." A commenter asked about similarities on this chromosome between other great ape species. In this video, I discuss inversion mutations on chromsomes 2a and 2b and how these help us determine when other apes branched from our ancestral stock.
