| HorseLuver4Life123 ::: Favorites 2007-12-21 20:33:25 hey, I absolutly LOVE horses and I have never been seriously injured by one, but, I know they can BE dangerous, because they're not a machine, they wont ALWAYS do what we tell them to, they are animals and have brains, so they will do what they want to do, for the most part, they listen to what we want, but like everyone, sometimes they "break the rules" ..... so even IF you know what you're doing, it can be dangerous... | tiffhorselove ::: Favorites 2007-12-21 13:04:12 to stop you do not 'pull back' on the reins, you squeeze and relax.. exhale..and say 'woahh'.. to turn left you don't 'pull left', you apply pressure with your right leg (horses move away from leg pressure) and you bring your left hand out slightly, and vice versa with turning right. if you are giving correct signals they'll listen to you __________________________________________________ | |
