Hickler90 ::: Favorites 2007-09-13 13:08:27 Thanks Brian, Well, everything came together perfect. I was out at about 7 am this morning and the weather and settings were awesome! __________________________________________________
o00o00ozy ::: Favorites 2007-09-13 16:23:45 My favorite are Pennsylvania Power and Light hoppers (PPLX), or especially, Reading and Northern QTI gons (RBMN), nothing beats those. They are quite rare, so if you ever get the change to see them, they are awesome! Oh and don't you catch 506 and 507 much? Those gons rock as well! __________________________________________________
o00o00ozy ::: Favorites 2007-09-13 16:25:44 On average there are at least 5 coal trains up here daily. That is an all GE consist by the way. Dash-9, Some form of Dash-8, I believe a 39-8E, and another Dash-9. __________________________________________________
Hickler90 ::: Favorites 2007-09-13 16:26:33 Im guessing you mean the old Norfolk and Western hoppers, i just saw some the other day on 505, i see them a good number though. __________________________________________________
o00o00ozy ::: Favorites 2007-09-13 16:33:13 No, 506 and 507 have the silver 5 bays. To be honest, I haven't heard this train lately, I hope they didn't cancel the service, those were the only trains with those gons in this area. Oh and sometimes they have exSouthern 5 bays in the consist, those are sweet, the SOUTHERN logo is huge! __________________________________________________
Hickler90 ::: Favorites 2007-09-13 17:55:43 Oh i know, and i thought you were talking about the others, but 506 is cool to see at night because theyre so shiny __________________________________________________
o00o00ozy ::: Favorites 2007-09-13 18:09:23 At night, hmmm... always daytime here, well they were. And rarely, 506 will have a DPU. __________________________________________________
Hickler90 ::: Favorites 2007-09-13 19:23:02 Yeah you have to see it, they are so shiny at nightime when they reflect the light. __________________________________________________
NSNCRailfan ::: Favorites 2007-09-14 01:24:33 Nice!! I don't see no EMD in the consist, all GEs this time. Friendly crew right there! __________________________________________________
nsconcord ::: Favorites 2007-09-14 23:26:04 There is no EMD on this train, it as a GE C40-9W, a GE C40-8, and a GE C40-9W. __________________________________________________
