Do you really need to be told by religion that murder is wrong to know that it is wrong? Fortunately, the vast majority of people have an innate sense that tells them that killing people isn't right, unless they're psychotic. Religion doesn't provide morality. In fact it advocates slavery, inequality and murder, while statistics show that atheists commit less crime than the faithful. __________________________________________________

The age of Aisha is not mentioned in the Qu'ran. So their is HUGE debate about where 9 came from? The only reference (possible clue) made in the Qu'ran is that she had reached puberty. Muslim u spoke to most probably have been taught the current understanding that islam came to remove slavery gradually, and they use the fact that the prophet freed all most all of his slaves during his life time, and by the time he died had none. __________________________________________________
