Did he report on the murder and torture of Iraq citizens under Saddam? No? Why not? What about the stoning and hanging that still goes on in these countries (like Iran) for things like being homosexual? Nothing there. The truth may not be welcome, but once glimpsed it cannot be denied and some eyes will be opened. There will always be mindless flagwavers who will not be receptive, but while there are journalists like Pilger and Seymore Hersh, ignorance is ultimately a choice. There is no excuse. E-mail journalists, challenge their estabilsmentarianism, do it to your politicians, form groups who protest in various ways. Organise boycotts of goods and services which exploit the workers who produce them.
