LGscammer ::: Favorites The Snowbirds didn't "buy" the squadron all they did was take 9 tutor planes and painted them red and white. Thats exactly what the Blue Angels did. And to your comment below, why would anybody want to arm airshow planes...It's not the old days where they shoot at targets. Oh, BTW, um..the Blue Angels aren't armed during airshows. 07-09-01 11:34:07 __________________________________________________
xxmissxlgxx ::: Favorites i love the blue angels + thunderbirds. i don't really think they're much for tricks and competition, though. they're more about dignity and representing their country. now the red arrows seem to go way too far to impress people. this team is my favorite because their tricks are the most interesting and orignial and they're not showoffs. don't mean to start a fight, but that's what i think. 07-08-12 18:46:32 __________________________________________________
dernola ::: Favorites I watched the snowbird amazing.... and plus they have 9 planes in the air at once 07-08-05 13:12:15 __________________________________________________
cycimian ::: Favorites You 2 grow up. you sound like children picking a fight. If you knew anything about these pilots , their interchangable. they can transpose from teams to teams, 07-08-01 10:20:28 __________________________________________________
Brandino16 ::: Favorites the snowbirds aren't the equivalent...there way better! 07-06-27 14:41:18 __________________________________________________
ancaroro ::: Favorites thingerbelow ?umm oo a hawk is the modern trainer that the CF flies the red arrows use them ......, however im still not sure what ure trying to argue, the blue angels will never see combat and there not going to paint them ......use ure common sense , those f 18 s are not combat ready , and they wouldnt be in 72 hours , its just a bunch of nonsense so why dont we just drop it cause its pointless arguement ... 07-05-21 18:09:21 __________________________________________________
TheOriginalBlue62 ::: Favorites WTF is a hawk? Did it ocur to you that the smoke system may be in an aexternal pod and 'fired' as one would regular ordinace? F-18's an F-18 and I doubt it would take more than 72 hours to pull a smoke system out of the plane if they had to. Key phrase here- COMBAT READY. US has a tendancy to go overboard with advancing units and why buy an extra squadron when you can just repaint an existing one? BTW, no response to my thinger below? lol 07-05-21 15:36:59 __________________________________________________
Quickwinklongsstare ::: Favorites no, they were talking about going to hawks not hornets....and can you not comprehend that those are aerobatic f-18's with diferent omponents than regular navyhornets , ie. smoke system yeah where do you get this stuff from??? 07-05-18 01:31:59 __________________________________________________
TheOriginalBlue62 ::: Favorites Can't arm trainer planes. They were talking about going to CF-18's a while back but I dunno what happened about it. 07-05-15 14:06:17 __________________________________________________
TheOriginalBlue62 ::: Favorites Why would you waste time transfering pilots around Quickwink? the navy guys are with the planes, the most logical option would be to keep them with 'em while they're painted and armed. 07-05-15 14:05:31 __________________________________________________ |
