trap9876 ::: Favorites Everyone knows that its the Labour government that have caused this slow decay of Britain and it will most likely change if the public would just not be stupid and vote for the conservatives. 07-07-06 08:35:28 _____________________________________________________
EvilMenace2Society ::: Favorites It would be hard to impliment something like this in the USA on every street corner and public place. New York is pretty famous for cams spread out over the city, but those cover traffic signals, bus stations, train stations and airports, nothing like britian though. 07-07-06 23:36:27 _____________________________________________________
Senteami ::: Favorites Yes, there are satellites who can read our mail. I never believe the "official reports" when it comes to how far we have advanced in technology because it gives them an extra cushion of safety plus it keeps us in ignorance of their real schemes... 07-07-07 13:32:05 _____________________________________________________
gratex ::: Favorites Most of the surveillance, not just video cameras but transaction monitoring, habit monitoring is done by private corporations. We don't really think about this do we? We worry about the government doing it but not corporations. That's what concerns me. 07-07-10 07:18:08 _____________________________________________________
slimvtec ::: Favorites Just wait until we all have a RF chip embedded in our necks like the Democrats want. Ron Paul is about the only one that voted AGAINST a national ID card, and is the only pro-freedom candidate in this election. 07-07-20 00:50:48 _____________________________________________________
coolwet ::: Favorites I have mixed feelings about this. On the one hand I probably would be a bit concerned about cameras being around me all day on the street. Then again it would be nice to know that when I don't make it safely past a group of wannabe gangsters it can be brought to court on video. However, a society that is better policed and more civilized in general would eliminate the idea of need for constant video surveillance. 07-07-20 12:10:03 _____________________________________________________
Cin3ris ::: Favorites The minute you step onto the street, you give up your privacy. As long as it's not in my bathroom I wouldn't care so much. I hear about kids being abducted off streets and so on and they don't have a lead, this is one good way to get one. So in that sense it's a pretty good security tactic. Anyways, yea it's a little eerie to think about who's looking, but then again, you can't be alert of who's looking at you all the time when you're shopping, or at a resturaunt, or walking in the park, etc. 07-07-22 01:01:31 _____________________________________________________
HundkatzeFisch ::: Favorites At the moment a lot of caeras were installed in germany too and in my opinion it it a huge problem. People will to change their behaviour because of the cameras, doesn´t matter if they have done something wrong or not. This is a neagtiv influence to the freedom for a not prooven security aspect. Also we in germany have bad memorys of total controle system in 1935 and in GDR... 07-07-24 04:47:37 _____________________________________________________
jtf1985 ::: Favorites the london bombings were a staged set up, just do a little investigation 07-07-26 21:52:21 _____________________________________________________
califbeachtoads ::: Favorites Yeah, I'm really surprised the Brits let that happen. I'm very disappointed in them. I'm even more disappointed that they dont do anything about it. Very complacent society lulled into sleep. Good luck with that. 07-07-28 15:18:06 _____________________________________________________ |
